Course: MA(Theol)

To study at YTU is a unique experience! The students are from diverse cultural and national backgrounds, and ages range from 20-70 yrs. There is also a mix between seminarians and the lay students. There is a preponderance of women — perhaps reflecting the demographics of worldwide church attendance. Women’s spirituality is therefore an important part of courses at YTU.

A good example of the diversity at YTU is that as early as in 1974 Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada addressed YTU students and tutors. Similarly, Rabbi John Levi was an invited lecturer at YTU in 1976. This represented the first time, in Australia, that a Rabbi was invited to be a formal lecturer in a Christian College. John Levi continued to lecture at YTU until 2002.

The worldview at YTU is one of open ecumenism and good will.

My studies at YTU have been a “life changing” privilege that I have found inspirational. The YTU “Handbook” offers an irresistible wealth of fascinating “new directions” — how could anyone possibly resist such an amazing opportunity!

I would earnestly recommend study at YTU to everyone!
