Master Of Arts (MA)

The Master of Arts degree offers candidates the opportunity to deepen and consolidate the grounding in theology achieved in the Graduate Diploma in Theology.

Entry Requirements

Graduate Diploma in Theology (or equivalent)
(If the MA is to include a thesis, the GradDipTheol must have included a 12,000 word research essay at distinction standard.)

Structure

Coursework Degree MA(Theol)

• Four (4) Level 4 units and a 12,000 word research essay OR
• Six (6) Level 4 units

Research Degree MA

• Two (2) Level 4 units and a minor thesis of 25,000 words OR
• Major thesis of 40,000 words.

1 — 3 years
